The Taber Police Service is excited to introduce a faster, more convenient way for you to obtain your Police Information Checks.
With our new online system, members of the public can apply for your record check from the comfort of your home, at any time that suits you. Whether you need a record check for employment, volunteering, or other purposes, our secure online platform ensures a quick and easy process.
In-person services will still be available, but we encourage you to take advantage of the benefits of our new online system. It's designed to save you time and provide the same reliable service you've come to expect from the Taber Police Service. A note about Vulnerable Sector (VS):
*Vulnerable Sector Checks MUST be performed by the municipality you reside in. If you are needing a VS check, go to your municipal Police Agency's website.
VS applies to individuals that intend to work and/or volunteer with Vulnerable Person(s). A Vulnerable Person is defined as a person who may be in need of community care services by a reason of mental illness, developmental disability or delay, other disability, age, illness, or emotional disturbance.
(eg. Nurse, Teacher, Youth Coaches, Day Care Provider, Security Guard, Uber/Taxi Driver)
