    • The Town of Taber understands we may be facing drought conditions in July. We have accounted for the use of the water during this water fight by reducing our irrigation water usage elsewhere, not using the large water hose on the fire truck during the fight this year, and using a large bladder container of water to limit the amount of water used (instead of running a hydrant/tap for long periods of time). We want to balance responsible water usage with allowing a few hours of fun, and believe our conservation efforts elsewhere make it so we can balance both. We appreciate the public's understanding.

We’re hoping for great weather on Monday, July 1st, for Canada Day. But we're preparing for any type of weather:
  • Sunny Weather: Canada Day goes on as planned!
  • Light Drizzle: Festivities continue outside, just bring your umbrellas and jackets!
