The Town of Taber encourages participation in physical and cultural activities for both individual and community well being. The Recreation Department also encompasses the management of the Taber Memorial Gardens cemetery.

Whether you are out for a stroll on our trail system, skating in our arenas, utilizing one of our many green spaces and playgrounds, or swimming in our pool, recreation staff are committed to ensuring your experience is an enjoyable one.

Programs & Special Events

Recreation also offers programs and oversees major special events. The department is also closely linked with the many minor sport and arts / culture organizations offering programs in our community.
