Election Day
The next General Election will be Monday, October 16, 2017

Voting stations will open at 10:00 AM and will close at 8:00 PM.

Advanced voting will occur in the White Room of the Taber Community Centre (B 4720 50th Street) on October 11th, 2017 at 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

Who Can Vote?
Any person that meets the following criteria are eligible to vote:

  • At least 18 years old
  • A Canadian citizen
  • Has resided in Alberta for 6 consecutive months immediately preceding Election Day
  • A resident of the Town of Taber on Election Day
  • Provides authorized identification

What Identification Do I Need?
All voters MUST produce one piece of identification (ID) that contains both their name and current address. Photo ID is not required.

Any piece of ID that contains your name and address on it will be accepted as valid proof for the election. To see a list of acceptable ID documents, check out this list. 

Where Can I Vote?
A polling station will be located at the Auditorium in the Taber Community Centre at B-4720 50th Street.

For residents of Linden View, Clearview Lodge, and long-term residents of the Taber Hospital, voting stations will be set up within your buildings to provide easy access to polling stations.
