Cornfest 2016 was held August 25 until August 27. Check out the CornFest 2016 Brochure to see what went on! Thank you to the Taber and District Chamber of Commerce for providing us with the brochure and for organizing such an incredible event every year!
Cornfest is the largest free family festival in western Canada, held on the last full weekend in August before the long weekend. Organized by the Taber and District Chamber of Commerce, this event brings visitors from near and far!
There's something for everyone at this event, from the midway, music, fun run, chili cook-off, show and shine, corn eating, fireworks, and so much more!
The sweetness and flavour of Taber corn is due to the large number of days of bright sunshine we receive in the Taber area.

Cornfest is the place to be!
Just off Highway #3, the main action for Cornfest happens in Confederation Park at 50th Avenue and 50th Street. But don't forget to head to downtown Taber to spend some time at our local businesses and see how everyone gets into the spirit of Cornfest!
Cornfest Fun Run
The Town of Taber annually hosts the Cornfest 5/10km Fun Run/Walk during the Cornfest celebrations held on August 26th, 2017.
The 2017 event will be the 25th annual! To celebrate our quarter-century milestone, the Town of Taber has also added a DJ and Bouncy Castle to the event to make it even more fun!
